AlwaysAnime is also now holding story contests regularly. There is no set theme or length at this point in time. Stories must be written by the members who submit them and must not be taken from the internet. The stories are displayed for members to vote on and at the end of the week votes will be counted and winners announced. The story contest is open to all members.

In the Anime Guessing Contest, several pictures of anime characters will be posted on the contest thread. Participants must guess the names of the characters, as well as the anime they're from and personal message their answers to the contest manager, Dany. The person who guesses them all will be the winner. If there is a tie, tie breaking images of new characters will be posted until there is one winner. The Anime Guessing Contest is open to all members.
